Prior to this time at Monarch, Val has worked with Cisco, Worklife (acquired by Cisco), Groupon, Britely (acquired by Groupon) and Mint (acquired by Intuit). These companies have gone on to generate $100M+ in revenue, raise over $100M+ in financing, and generate attractive returns to investors.

Val is known for his commitment to fostering a collaborative company culture and mentoring emerging talent in the tech industry.

Ozzie Osman is the Head of Engineering and co-founder of Monarch. With a background in technology and finance, he combines his expertise to drive innovation in the fintech sector.

Ozzie is passionate about empowering individuals and businesses through accessible financial tools. Prior to Monarch, Ozzie held positions at Parlo (acquired by Quora), Quora, Holloway and Google where he honed his skills in product development and strategic planning.

Under his leadership, Monarch aims to simplify the investment process, making it more transparent and user-friendly for all.

Rachel Lawrence currently serves as the Head of Advice & Planning at Monarch. She is also the founder of both Reverie Wealth and Plan Ventures.

Before Monarch, Rachel worked as the Director of Coaching at Ellevest and Director of Financial Planning at Advizr. She is a certified financial planner and holds a Master of Science in Financial Planning.

With over 15+ years of experience, Rachel has expertise in countless areas including budgeting, debt management, retirement planning, investing, and more.
